At Freckles and Frills Child Care and Learning Center we have a  commitment to your family to keep a high standard for the care and education we provide.

We voluntarily participate and maintain our designations of quality initiatives for early education and child care.

Our Center is licensed by the state of Pennsylvania through the Department of Human Service which means that we comply with all regulations which ensure your child’s safety.

We are also a Keystone Star 4  facility which means that we choose to maintain the highest possible quality standards in the areas of Learning Environment, Teacher Qualifications, Parent Involvement, and Program Administration. To find out more information about our Keystone Stars designation  follow the link.

Since November of 2013, Freckles and Frills has participated in the “Healthy Way To Grow Program” spearheaded by the American Heart Association, Nemours, and the McGowan Foundation.   Healthy Way to Grow’s program goal is to help our community to reverse childhood obesity by improving our practices and policies by creating healthier environments for our children. The goal is to achieve best practice guidelines in nutrition, physical activity, screen time, and infant feeding. In October of 2015, we received a Silver Center Level for our high level of commitment and adherence to healthy practices with our children and staff.  For more information about this program, or for tools and resources visit their web page:
